With the advent of Transmogrification in patch 4.3 of World of Warcraft, we thought it appropriate to create a blog with ideas for Transmog sets. We don’t try to limit and restirct our sets with any hard-and-fast rules, but we’re not very interested in making sets composed heavily of the same armor sets. Full sets of tier gear look nice, we don’t argue that. But why make a website compiling them with matching weapons/cloaks/etc? All of that is easily done by you and we’d be wasting our time. Instead we like to create more organic sets combining several different looking pieces. Now that’s not to say some of our sets don’t use 3-4 pieces from one set sometimes, but sometimes a match is a match and we won’t arbitrarily cheapen the look of the set for the sake of “originality”.
All of these sets were made by us unless noted otherwise, made with the help of the add-on MogIt. Seriously, major props to the creator of this wonderful add-on, without it we’d be scratching our heads helplessly struggling to create new ideas. It has an incredibly nifty color search feature to help you find matching pieces, allowing us to pick and choose stylistic matches rather than direct tier matches.
