Argent Champion Armor

If you’ve ever done the Argent Tournament dailies, this armor is meant to match the Paladins of that faction.  We also wanted to make sure it went great with the Paladin only Argent Charger mount, which is why we tried to match all three of the colors as tightly as possible.  We think the mace works perfectly too because its the only model of its kind and was very expensive to craft when it was relevant, so a lot of players won’t even recognize it.

This is a moderately easy set to create if you’re willing to farm some fairly easy BC raiding for gear.  A lot of the pieces can be bought or crafted, and everything that can’t comes from Karazahn/Serpentshire/The Eye.

We absolutely love the look of the Bloodfang Spaulders and wanted to create a set more or less around them.  This Bloodletter theme just tries to use simple red leather pieces and vicious jagged daggers to create the bloody aesthetic.  There were certainly a lot of more intense pieces we could have opted for, but we liked the down-to-earth look as many rogues complain about looking too unstealthy with all the crazy tier pieces.

The set itself requires a fair bit of old raid farming, including the shoulders and daggers (you’ll need 2 of them).  A lot of the set is composed of random greens that may or may not be hard to find on your server.

First off, he only has a mainhand because you can choose to dual wield these weapons or use a shield if you are fury/prot, and soooo many shields match this set we didn’t feel the need to stifle creativity.  If you are an arms or titans grip warrior (or perhaps a Ret Pally/DK) then Armageddon is a perfect choice.  The design is more or less just a true warrior armor set, nothing special other than it looks badass. The bandages are difficult to see from the front on some races but almost always visible from behind, which is what you’ll end up staring at the most anyway.

A lot of this set is crafted, with a few dungeon drops and quest rewards.  As such its very easy to farm up, although if you go for Armageddon you’ll have to raid Naxxramas, and could very possibly have a lot of competition for the sword as it is a fan favorite for sure.
